Biography
LIU Yang (刘洋) is currently an assistant professor in the School of Computer Engineering and Science, Shanghai University (上海大学). He received his BSc(Eng) degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2016 and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2021. His research interests include job scheduling and resource management for cloud computing, online optimization, and multi-armed bandit algorithms. He is particularly interested in designing and implementing resource management strategies for distributed systems. LIU Yang has published tens of paper including INFOCOM, ToN, TPDS, ICDCS, ICPP, KDD, and IJCAI. He is also sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Leading Talents (Overseas), and Shanghai Pujiang Program.
